Derbyshire garden in Guardian’s ‘must-see’ list

The historic garden of Fanshawe Gate Hall in Holmesfield, Derbyshire will open under the National Garden Scheme on Sundays 22nd and 29th June and 6th and 13th July. Recommended as one of this year’s private gardens to visit (The Guardian 31st May), Fanshawe Gate attracts horticulturalists, painters and visitors of all ages from around the UK, and has a long record of charitable fund raising.

Derbyshire garden opens to fund teachers in India

The historic garden of Fanshawe Gate Hall in Holmesfield, Derbyshire will be open on Sunday 4th May 2008 to raise funds for Christian Aid education projects in India. With five distinct gardens in one, Fanshawe Gate attracts horticulturalists, painters and visitors of all ages from around the UK, and has a long record of raising funds for charity.
